We have received reports of individuals receiving text messages claiming they have outstanding violations associated with their vehicle.

These messages include a link to a website requesting payment, which is fraudulent.

Some of the phone numbers sending these messages appear to be from outside the United States.

If you receive a text message like this:
• Do not click the link
• Do not reply to the message
• Block the number
