Izard County Chief Deputy Charley Melton said a Pineville man was arrested after Deputies were called about an alleged assault of a female.

Melton said Deputy Toby Smith and Deputy Sean Tomlinson make contact with a woman who had several severe wounds and had been taken to the Calico Rock Medical Center for treatment.

After speaking with the victim, deputies then made contact with 29-year-old Robert Stowers of Dolph who was brought to the Izard County Sheriff's Office for further questioning.

Stowers told officers he could not remember what happened between him and the female victim, but did remember striking her for allegedly lying to him and that she might have lost consciousness during the assault. 

Stowers was charged with a class C felony for second degree domestic battery and aggravated assault on a family member, which is a class D felony. Bond was set at $25,000.

 

Melton said several others were arrested during the past week.

 

Antonio Torrey Johnston, 44, of Conway was arrested April 26 and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $1,250.

 

Victoria Lee Reynolds, 26, of Searcy was arrested April 27 for possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license. She is being held on a parole violation. Bond was set at $1,615.

 

Dion Lamont Raglin, 49, of Little Rock was arrested April 27 and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $1,250.

 

Clarence Marlow, 25, was arrested on April 28 and charged with breaking and entering. 

Laura Chantelle Germeaux, 33, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested April 29 and charged with public intoxication. Bond was set at $220.

 

Randall Lipford, 57, was arrested April 29 and charged with driving an ATV on highway and driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $535.

 

Jennifer Quearry, 41, of Melbourne was arrested April 30 and charged theft of property and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $1,750.

 

Justin Hale, 22 of Mammoth Spring, was arrested May 1 on a failure to appear charge.

 

Clifton Frank Davis, 55, of Melbourne was arrested May 1 and charged with no driver's license, no seat belt and public intoxication. Bond was set at $100.

 

Sabryna Irby, 25, of Melbourne was arrested May 1 on a failure to appear charge.

 

Brian K. Cantrell, 28, of Pineville was arrested and is on hold for another agency.

 

Jamie Nichole Woodcock, 33, of Calico Rock was arrested May 2 and is being held on a CID charge.
