HEATHER UPTON	BRYANT BRUCE

 

According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, on February 19 Sgt. Steve Davidson responded to a vacant residence in Guion for a report of persons trespassing on the property. Sgt. Davidson made contact with Heather Upton, age 44 of Guion, and Bryant Bruce, age 46 of Guion, both were escorted off the property. On February 20 Investigator Tyler Webb took a report from the same place of a wood heating stove missing. During the course of the investigation, a witness came forward and stated they helped Upton and Bruce move a stove from the residence approximately three weeks prior. Upton and Bruce are currently under supervision of the Arkansas Community Corrections. A home visit was completed on the residence where the missing stove was located inside.

Upton and Bruce were charged with breaking or entering, a class "d" felony and theft of property, a class "a" misdemeanor. There bonds were set at $5000 each and a court date was set for March 30.

On February 19 Gerald Valenzuela, age 37 of Melbourne, was arrested by Trooper Johnson for speeding, driving on a restricted license, and possession of an instrument of crime.  Valenzuela is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on April 22.

On February 22 Michael Kelly, age 31 of Franklin, was arrested by Probation/Parole for parole violations.

On February 23 Brandon Stanley, age 47 of Pineville, was arrested by Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson for violations of conditions of bond. Stanley was out on bond from the Izard County Circuit Court for felony drug charges. Stanley is scheduled to appear in the Izard County Circuit Court on March 30.

On February 25 Amos Parnell, age 43 of Pineville, was arrested by Probation/Parole for parole violations. Parnell was also out on bond for felony drug charges and his bond was revoked. Parnell is scheduled to appear in the Izard County Circuit Court on March 30.

On February 26 Bruce Northern, age 70 of Evening Shade, was arrested by Investigator Tyler Webb for battery 3rd degree. Northern is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on April 8.

On February 26 Joshua McCabe, age 34 of Violet Hill, was arrested by Deputy J Barnes for failure to stop at a stop sign, violation of interlock device, and possession of a controlled substance. McCabe is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on April 6.

On February 26 Jerry Bierman, age 73 of Oxford, was arrested by Chief Deputy Charley Melton on a failure to appear warrant out of the Izard County Circuit Court. Bierman was out on bond for an aggravated assault charge. Bierman is scheduled to appear in the Izard County Circuit Court on March 30.
