According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, On February 13, Officers with Probation/Parole, Izard County Sheriff's Department, and the 16th Drug Task Force made a home visit at the residence of Russell Blevins, age 54 of Violet Hill, who is under active supervision of Arkansas Community Corrections. During the search, drug paraphernalia, pseudoephedrine, methamphetamine, and firearms were located. Also at the residence during this time was Kristi Ford, age 44 of Violet Hill and Polly Nievaard age 55 of Horseshoe Bend. As a result of the home visit, Blevins was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; a class "D" felony, possession of pseudoephedrine; a class "D" felony, felon in possession of firearm two counts; a class "D" felony, maintaining a drug premises; a class "C" felony, and habitual offender; an unclassified enhancement. Blevins bond was set at $30,000 professional on the new charges with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court. Blevins was currently out on bond from Izard County Circuit Court on felony drug charges. That bond was revoked. Nievaard was charged with possession of a controlled substance; a class "D" felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia; a class "D" felony. Nievaard's bond was set at $10,000 professional with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court. Ford was charged with a misdemeanor of possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $1,250 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 14 Trooper Lively and Sgt. Steve Davidson conducted a traffic stop near Mount Pleasant. During the stop the vehicle was searched. Methamphetamine was found. As a result Johnny Burnett, age 60 of Batesville, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class "A" felony. Burnett's bond was set at $25,000 cash with a court date of March 4 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On February 10 Deputy Jason Jordan was dispatched to a farm off the Lafferty Road in Mount Pleasant for a report of a theft. Numerous items were reported missing. Game Camera pictures showed the suspects in the act of the crime. As a result of the pictures and other information gained during the investigation, on February 19 Matthew Martin, age 27 of Batesville, and Carson Davis, age 25 of Batesville, were arrested and charged with residential burglary, a class "B" felony and theft of property, a class "C" felony. Martin's bond was set at $25,000 professional. He was currently out on felony bond in Independence County; that was revoked. Davis' bond was set at $25,000 professional. Their court date was set at March 4 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On February 14, Michelle Marshall, age 22 of Heber Springs was arrested by Transport Deputy Dennis Hutchins on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Marshall's bond was set at $5,000 professional with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On February 14, Fallon Casey, age 23 of Memphis, was arrested by Deputy Jason Jordan on warrants for petition to revoke felony probation and failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Fallon is being held on no bond on the petition to revoke with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court. Her bond on the failure to appear was set at $365 cash only with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 15, Adam Stacy, age 25 of Oklahoma, was arrested by Transport Deputy Dennis Hutchins on a warrant for failure to appear and petition to revoke felony probation. Stacy is being held with no bond with a court date of February 18 in the Izard County Circuit Court.

On February 16, Richard Varnado, age 63 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy J Barnes for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving on a suspended license for DWI. Varnado was given an OR bond with a court date of March 3 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 16, Victoria Mora, age 57 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy Brent Engles for public intoxication. Mora's bond was set at $220 professional with a court date of March 3 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 16, Jason Hendrix, age 49 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Jason Jordan for careless driving, driving on a suspended driver's license, no proof of insurance, and leaving the scene of an accident. Hendrix's bond was set at $850 professional with a court date of March 5 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 16, Edwin Teegarden, age 47 of Dolph, was arrested by Trooper Lively for DWI and illegal window tint. Teegarden's bond was set at $965 professional with a court date of April 23 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 18, Nicholas Staggs, age 33 of Calico Rock, and Megan Cantrell, age 28 of Calico Rock, was arrested by Deputy Sean Tomlinson for domestic battery 3rd degree, violation of a no contact order, and endangering the welfare of a minor. They are being held without bond with a court date of February 20 in the Izard County District Court.

On February 18, David Smart, age 53 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Jail Administrator Sherry Davidson on a warrant for petition to revoke his felony probation. Smart's bond was set at $2,500 professional with a court date of March 4 in the Izard County Circuit Court.
