SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT MAKES NUMEROUS ARRESTS



Phillip Randal Bartlett, age 22 of Yellville was arrested May 9 on a warrant charging him with Burglary and theft of property. Bartlett appeared in Izard County Circuit Court and was sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Correction where he was transported May 10.

William Winston Taylor, age 38 of Calico Rock was arrested Sunday on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. Taylor remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on an investigative hold.

Matt Wayne McQueen, age 21 of Melbourne was arrested Sunday on a failure to pay fines warrant. McQueen remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on an investigative hold. At the time of booking, McQueen tested positive of cocaine, opiates, marijuana, meth, and amphetamines.

Following a traffic stop Saturday afternoon on highway 69 between highway 58 and Lacrosse Road, Wendil Leroy Matthews, age 49 of Hot Springs was charged with driving left of center and driving while intoxicated. Matthews tested positive of alcohol and marijuana. Matthews posted bond Sunday in the amount of $1,150 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Michael Joseph Kelly, age 21 of Franklin was arrested May 10 on a theft of property charge. Kelly posted an appearance bond of $20,000 on Friday and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Charles Wayne Crider, age 49 of Melbourne was arrested Thursday on a child support enforcement warrant. Crider posted bond the following day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Freddy Sanders, age 49 of Dolph was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Sanders posted bond the day of his arrested in the amount of $345 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Kimberly Dawn Sanders, age 35 of Paragould was arrested Saturday on warrant charging her with failure to pay. Sanders remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $545 bond.

Amber Wilson, age 32 of Melbourne was arrested Thursday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Wilson posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $675 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Heath Jason Hypes, age 39 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested May 11 on multiple warrants of failure to appear and pay. Hypes posted bond in the amount of $755 and was released with a court date.

Trisha Nicole Pinkston, age 25 of Mountain Home was arrested Friday on a failure to pay fines warrant. Pinkston posted bond the day of her arrest in the amount of $605 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.\

Heather Lynn Basham, age 31 of Mountain Grove, Missouri was transported to the Arkansas Department of Correction on May 12 after having been sentenced in Izard County Circuit Court the previous Monday.
