Sheriff's Department Visits Schools

SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT VISITS SCHOOLS


Investigator Charles Melton and Deputy Matt Churchwell of the Izard County Sheriff’s Department spoke with the Melbourne Elementary 6th Grade on April 9. The presentation involved internet safety and identity theft. Investigator Melton and 16th Judicial Task Force Special Agent James Humphrey visited April 23 with Melbourne and Mt. Pleasant classes on internet safety and illegal drugs. Sheriff Tate Lawrence expresses his appreciation to the schools for allowing his department to visit with the students.
