FRANKLIN MAN FACES CHARGES

A Franklin man, fifty nine year old William Roy Bennett was arrested Friday on drug related charges out of Missouri and faces similar charges out of Izard County. A search warrant was executed on his property on Wes Arnold Road near Franklin  where several marijuana plants and other illegal drug items were found.  Bennett remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on an investigative hold.

Carl Benjamin Vannatter, age 25 of Pineville, who was earlier charged with four theft related crimes, was arrested October 3 at a residence in Norfork.  Vannatter remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $35,000 bond.

Jarrod Landon Bonnow, age 33 of Wentworth, Missouri was arrested October 2 on the charge of criminal trespass. Bonnow and a female companion were in a residence near Sylamore without the owner’s permission. Bonnow posted bond the following day in the amount of $605 and given a court date.

Charles Daniel Boothe, age 28 of Cherokee Village was arrested Wednesday on a failure to pay fines warrant stemming from a charge of Battery Third Degree.  Booth remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,343 bond.

Following an altercation at residence on Red Lane, Calico Rock, three males were arrested Monday night an each were charged with domestic battering third degree.  Released the following day after posting bond were McClain Dustin Causby, age 24 of Calico Rock; McClain Causby, age 52 of Calico Rock; and Jacobi D. Clark, age 29 of Calico Rock.

Donnie Ray Woodcock, age 30 of Calico Rock was arrested Thursday afternoon on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication-drugs. Woodcock appeared before Judge David E. Miller the following day and was released with a court date.

Christopher Emory Pike, age 53 of LaCrosse Road, Melbourne was arrested Saturday night on the charge of domestic battering third degree. An argument between Pike and his fifteen year old daughter allegedly became physical and the daughter had what appeared to be hand marks on her neck.  Pike remain in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Robert Lee Vargason, age 21 of Horseshoe Bend was arrested October 3 on a failure to appear warrant.  Vargason posted bond the following day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Cody Edward Rush, age 25 of Mountain View was arrested October 5 on a child support enforcem4ent warrant.  Rush remains jailed in lieu of $13,030 bond.

Clifford Eugene Jones, age 43 of Ash Flat was arrested on a felony failure to appear warrant. Jones remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a “no bond” status. Pending court.

Dawn Louise Nelson, age 33 of Fifty Six was arrested October 2 on the charge of criminal trespass.  Nelson and a male companion were found in a residence near Sylamore without having the owner’s permission.  Nelson posted bond the following day in the amount of $150 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Steven George Parker, age 23 of Swifton was arrested October 5 on a failure to appear warrant.  Parker remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of a $1,500 cash bond.

Jennifer Cotton, age 41 of Marshall  was arrested late Sunday afternoon at a  Sylamore area residence on charges of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.  Cotton remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.
