DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARREST IN CALICO ROCK

Deputies were dispatched Saturday night to a residence in Calico Rock in response to domestic in progress call. The female complainant advised that a male, later identified as Ronnie L. Mooney, age 55 had threatened to kill her and that he was intoxicated. Mooney had left the Forth Street residence before officers arrived. Deputies located Mooney at another residence in Calico Rock. Allegedly, Mooney also threatened the victim numerous times and specifically said that he would kill her if she called the police. Mooney was arrested and charged with terroristic threatening third degree and assault on a family member. Mooney remains in the Izard County Detention Facility pending an appearance before a judge.

Brayden W. Conyers, age 20 of Melbourne was arrested January 4 on the charge of theft of property. Conyers is accused of stealing soft drinks from Melbourne store. Conyers was accompanied by a female juvenile who was cited and given a court date in juvenile court. Conyers was released January 7 with a future district court date.

Jolynn Mandel, age 26 of Calico Rock was arrested Thursday on a failure to pay warrant. Mandel was released with conditions the same day and given a court date in Izard County District Court.

A Lead Hill, Arkansas man, Jonathan Carl Jones, age 24 was arrested January 5 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Jones was released the same day after posting a bond in the amount of $435.

Michael Linn Cox, age 21 of Mountain Home was arrested Saturday on Mountain Home Police Department misdemeanor warrant. Cox was transferred to the Baxter County Jail.

Two inmates of the Izard County Detention Facility who were awaiting bed space at the Arkansas Department of Correction was transported to prison. The inmates were Daniel Wayne Dwight, age 21 of Dolph Road, Calico Rock and Benjamin Jacob Hinds, age 28 of Oxford.
